On the morning of November 10, 2021, the expert demonstration meeting of Jiangsu Society of Biophysics was held successfully in Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology.

The meeting conducted expert demonstration on the audit of Jiangsu Society of Biophysics.Li Zheng, minister of academic department of Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, attended and presided over the expert demonstration meeting. Feng Yixiang, vice minister of academic department of the Society, and researcher Song Jia attended the meeting.The experts participating in the survey are all the heads of the adjacent national and Jiangsu provincial societies: Wang Jianjun, honorary director of Jiangsu Society of Physiological Sciences, Han Xiao, deputy supervisor of the Chinese Society of Biophysics (also executive director of the Chinese Society of Cell Biology), Li Chaojun, deputy director of the Chinese Society of Cell Biology, Wang Min, director of Jiangsu Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Yang Yonghua, deputy director of the Jiangsu Society of Genetics.The main responsible persons of Jiangsu Society of Biophysics, Professor Zhang Chenyu, dean of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Biomedical Technology of Nanjing University, and Professor Qi Xiaoyun, professor of the College of Life Sciences of Nanjing University, attended the meeting.

At the demonstration, experts highly affirmed the importance and urgency of the establishment of Jiangsu Province Biophysics Society, and jointly proposed: the adjacent societies will establish the Jiangsu Province Life Science Society Consortium, truly realize the cross integration of major disciplines, promote more information exchange and resource sharing among members, create a better environment for scientific and technological innovation, and make new explorations for scientific and technological innovation in Jiangsu Province.

According to the instructions of Minister Li Zheng, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology and the Civil Affairs Department will accelerate the approval rhythm, and the Society will hold the official establishment conference and the first member congress recently.
