On the afternoon of December 9, Nanjing Artificial Intelligence Biomedicine Seminar has been held successfully. As one of the sub-forums of the 2019 Nanjing International Life & Health Industry Expo,this meeting invited top researchers from Harvard University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and health,Chinese Academy of Sciences and more than 30 other institutions, to discuss the application of artificial intelligence technology in biomedical research.

The seminar focused on how to use advanced artificial intelligence technology to promote basic biomedical research and industrial transformation. Professor Wei Yang from Protein Innovation Institute,Harvard Medical School, professor Qiangfeng Zhang and Professor Jianyang Zeng from School of life sciences,Tsinghua University and other prfessors shared the application of artificial intelligence in the fields of human orphan receptor pairing, new structural biology and drug discovery.

Nanjing University Institute of Artificial Intelligence Biomedicine is based on a team of researchers from Nanjing University and the School of life sciences, we are committed to developing new methods and technologies of biomedical research based on principles of artificial intelligence. We will use this seminar as a bridge to bring elites together, promote joint construction and sharing, integrate scientific and technological resources, and gather the power of science and technology through multi-party cooperation, to jointly promote the rapid development of artificial intelligence and industrial upgrading in the era of biological big data.
